Outage: Searx, Federated Media

What?

Searx, Matrix media, and Mastodon media services were intermittently unavailable.

When?

Between 11:50 AM CDT and 12:36 PM CDT on Saturday, July 24th.

Why?

A temporary storage failure occurred preventing media for federated services from being stored or retrieved. The server running these services had to be restarted multiple times to identify and resolve the issue. The Searx service shares resources with federated services, and so was unavailable during that time.
